Overview • 2006: The Writers Guilds of America, West and East jointly unveiled a prestigious list of the 101 Greatest Screenplays, as voted on by WGA members. • Premiere magazine co-sponsored 101 list & live tribute event • Event garnered global media attention, including a screening series on Turner Classic Movies and LACMA Begin Presentation • 2013: The next incarnation of the 101 brand was released – the 101 Best Written TV Series • TV Guide co-sponsored with a special-issue feature section and hosted at the WGA Theater • Event was broadcast live via Ustream.com TV 101 Panelists: (L-R) Matthew Weiner, Ronald D.   5. 101 FUNNIEST SCREENPLAYS EVENT Begin Presentation WGA Theater Lobby WGA Theater • The WGA plans to host the tribute event at the WGAW’s newly renovated Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills (nearly 500 seats) • Depending upon sponsorship, the event could potentially expand to a larger venue to accommodate additional attendees, permit higher production values and enable greater public exposure • Event will consist of red carpet arrivals, VIP pre-show cocktail party, presentation and reveal of the list with A-list screenwriters and celebrities, and post-show dessert & cocktail reception • Event will include dynamic clip packages, spotlighting classic and contemporary comedic movies, and additional program content • Event will be moderated by a major-name comic/celebrity

MEDIA PARTNER The WGA seeks a major media partner to maximize editorial and cross-promotional opportunities to generate industry attention and media coverage for the list and tribute launch event, including print and online marketing efforts. Begin Presentation 101 Greatest Screenplays Media Partner • Build a special magazine issue spotlighting the 101 Funniest Screenplayslist and its featured writers published to coincide with the launch/roll-out of the list in 2015 • Promote via partner’s multi-media platforms, i.e., print, online, and network and social media outlets • Receive prominent logo placement in promotional and publicity materials, including but not limited to: press releases/media advisories, print program, red carpet ‘step-&-repeat” banner, event branded signage, and other promotional materials • Receive exclusive, advance access to its “101 Funniest” master list, as well as print/online rights to editorial content related to the list. Subject to availability, Guild staff may help facilitate the scheduling of interviews in connection with any editorial content for the media partner

Event sponsorship Begin Presentation Will Reiser (50/50), Annie Mumolo (Bridesmaids) & Kris Keyser (WGAw President) The WGA is seeking to secure a sole premiere sponsor to underwrite the Guilds’ 101 Funniest Screenplays list & tribute event set for Fall 2015. This is an ideal opportunity for a major American brand to associate itself with America’s other best-known, popular industry: television. In exchange for sponsorship, event sponsor will receive the following benefits: PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP (Sole Event Sponsor = $150,000) • (50) tickets to 101 Funniest Screenplays live tribute event • Designated ceremony slot for sponsor rep to address tribute event audience • Full-page 4C ad in the WGAW’s Written By magazine in 101 Funniest Screenplays special issue (TBD) • Logo placement on red carpet & reception signage as sole event sponsor • Logo placement on WGAW/WGAE websites as premiere sponsor • Logo placement in 101 Funniest Screenplays tribute event-related media/promo materials • Inclusion of logo and/or full-page ad in event program (TBD) • Logo placement on any potential on potential event streaming/online broadcast (TBD) • Sponsor will receive DVDs of filmed live 101 Funniest Screenplays tribute event • Inclusion of sponsor’s branded item(s) in tribute event gift bags (TBD)
