This is vital because we may have to set up a panel to decide which submissions the College will recommend through to VU. 2: You will have to make sure that you haveclearly defined your goals in terms of further education/career pathways, and can articulate these concisely to support your application. 3:You will need to involve yourself in research into the course that you are applying for – use the questions on your timeline as a starting pointto help in preparation relating to your commitment section of you application. 4:Don’t forget that you will need to write about your goals,your commitmentand write up a Personal Statement as part of your on-line application. In this section you will be required to outline the following: Your Goals (approx 300 words – 1500 characters) You need to outline: - Your reasons for wanting to do the course - How the course will help you achieve your life/career goals 2. Your Commitment (approx 300 words – 1500 characters) You need to outline: - Why you think you will succeed in the course. Personal Statement (approx1400 words – 7000 characters over 3 sections) You can use the Personal Statement to provide further information about yourself.
