  5. Access is not the primary problem. 96.5% of children are enrolled yet almost half cannot read at grade level.

  12. Learning Support Classes Children 6 and above strengthen their reading and math skills, so they can keep up and stay in school.

  13. Pratham Council for Vulnerable Children (PCVC) PCVC impacts over 184,000 childrenin urban and rural areas.

  14. Balwadi 28,000 children from low income families access pre-school education.

  15. Computer Assisted Literacy 173,000 childrenacross 8 states access school-based computer labs through this program.

  16. Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 633,000 children are surveyed in rural India to measure learning levels, contributing to education reform in India and other countries.

Read India Achievements 2 millionchildren reached in rural regions reach through Read India from 2011-2012. 62,000 volunteers and 48,000 teachers trained in our teaching and assessment techniques. 633,000 children surveyed through ASER, measuring learning levels across the country and spurring education reform.
