  5. Discussion: 1.What are these? 2.What are they used for? 3.What do they come from? Coffee beans are used to make coffee. It originally came from Africa, although coffee-drinking started in Arab countries. Tea leaves are used to make tea. It originally came from China.

  6. Chili peppers are used as a spice to make food more tasty. In fact ,many Chinese may believe it came from China. However ,it came from Latin America. Hemp is used to make rope or carpets. And it came from the Central Asia.

  7. Question: What do we call the person doing the research on the plants? Do you know any botanists? How do scientists classify them now? How did they classify them in the past?
