  2. Phase 1 Done A written plan before beginning your research to include: • Who is in the group and who will do what? • Timekeeper, Recorder/Writer, Task Master, Primary Presenter, Creative Coordinator • Which cars will be researched?

Hand In on Monday For a Grade Phase 2 – Research Research -- Collect research data from internet Car Features -- on worksheet form Yearly costs to own the car (TCO) -- in table form Insurance quote from eInsurance.com (Basic Coverage). Quote to be in hardcopy form showing level of coverage and deductibles. Driving Data - Distance to vacation city, size of gas tank.

  4. Phase 2 – Analysis Analysis Team members to debate pros and cons of their selected cars. Team to select and support one car as their preferred choice. (Individual reports must include such a comparison, preferred choice and justification.) Each student determines how much money they need to borrow and calculate monthly payment. Friday Monday

Phase 3 – GenerateFinal Deliverables Thursday Friday Data on hand Specs ( mpg, gas tank size, features) TCO (estimate from Edmunds) Insurance cost (estimate from eInsurance – Basic Coverage) Monthly loan payment (estimate from US Bank) Distance to vacation spot. Cost of 1 gallon of gas Estimate for Scheduled Maintenance & Unexpected repairs Create Poster Board, Revise Personal budget Write the report – comparing multiple vehicles

  6. Phase 3 – Generate the Final Deliverables All Due On Monday Poster Board (75 pts) Revise Personal Budget (50 pts) The final report (25 pts)
