U N Security Council Resolution 1816 Effectively extends UNCLOS High Seas jurisdiction to Somalia’s territorial waters Enables States co‑operating with Somalia to enter its territorial waters Use “all necessary means” to repress piracy and armed robbery at sea - consistent with relevant international law.
