Executive Branch The Executive Branch is lead by the president. They make sure that laws are obeyed . It also leads the armed forces.
Legislative Branch The Legislative Branch is lead by congress. They form laws and establish taxes.
Judicial Branch The Judicial Branch is lead by the supreme court. It is also lead by other courts. This branch decides what laws mean. It decides if the laws agree with the constitution, or don’t follow it.
Interactions Between Branches Legislative And Judicial: These two branches interact in different ways. When legislative passes a law, the judicial can not allow laws if are against the constitution. The legislative can also refuse to appoint the presidents candidates for judgeships. Legislative And Executive: These two branches also interact in different ways. When the executive makes sure laws are obeyed, they veto laws congress has passed. Legislative can override the presidents veto. Executive And Judicial: These two branches can interact in different ways, too. When the Executive makes sure laws are obeyed, the Judicial can overturn the presidents actions if it finds them to be against the constitution. The Executive can also appoint supreme court justices and other federal judges.
