Achieving the Dream • National Organization of Community College Memberships with a focus on increasing student success, especially students of color and low-income students • Joining provided us with a process for defining and reporting data related to student success and supports the implementation of activities aimed at narrowing the learning gaps of our students
SC4 and Achieving the Dream • Submitted application: March, 2010 • Attended National Kickoff Event: June, 2010 • Planning year: 2010/2011 • Implementation proposal submitted: May, 2011 • Implementation of Interventions began: Fall 2011

Putting Students First: • Create a culture of responsibility, high standards, and clear expectations; • Provide a deep and broad array of student support services; • When in doubt lean in the direction of the student; • Recognize that students are much more than customers, but recognize that they are also customers; • Create a student processes taskforce.
