What is language? • Can include speaking, writing, and sign language. • Language-Audible, articulate meaningful sound as produced by the action of vocal organs. • Writing-A sequence of letters, words, or symbols marked on paper or some other surface • Sign language-A system of communication using visual gestures and signs.
