  5. Step 4 You needed to create a graph on the next page for each year of the study for the TOTAL number of Whooping Cranes (migrating adults plus the hatched eggs). Year 1 you would graph 25 (migrating adults 21 plus hatched eggs 4). Year 2 you would graph 22 (migrating adults 20 plus hatched eggs 2) and so forth for each year of the study.

  6. Step 5 Looking at the graph provided, notice the numbers for the years are underneath the vertical line. This would indicate that a line graph is expected. If the number were under the column, that would indicate a bar graph should have been used.
