  3. Five components to a comprehensive drug-free workplace program: • A drug-free workplace policy • Supervisor training • Employee education • Employee assistance • Drug testing

  4. Regulations • Are there any state and/or federal regulations for drug and alcohol testing? • What is the difference between the two?

  5. Education and Training • What are the state and/or federal drug testing requirements and regulations? • Are the tests accurate, or could someone get fired because of prescription drugs or even poppy seeds? • What if I’m just around other people that use illegal drugs? • Isn’t alcohol a legal drug?

  6. Testing • What testing process is right for me? • What can/do we test for? • What are the reasons for testing?

  7. What happens now? • What happens if one of my employee’s tests positive for drugs and/or alcohol? • What is considered a positive? • Are the test results confidential, or can they be reported to anyone else?
