Unit summary • Majority of students of G.P.I.W. enroll in the institution with a weak educational background and to earn their livelihood,but they are unable to find suitable job due to language hurdles and lack of communication skill. They are not able to express themselves in good Urdu. Even their written expression is faulty. As a language teacher of grade.12,I have decided to do a project on the ways which can help students to cop with their communication and comprehension problems during their interaction. That will be asked to assume the roll of researcher. They will search various sources of communication, their history and modern version. They will be encouraged to use internet, library and other print media for their research.

  6. UNIT SUMMARY, CONT.. • And other print media for their research. They will present their work in Power Point presentation. They will utilize language,21st century skills and technology to enhance their skills of communication, collaboration, confidence, media literacy and self direction. When they finish they will be equipped with 21century skills and ready for success.

GOALS AND STANDARDS FOR STUDENTS • 1-Students will create persuasive presentation encompassing different modes of communication especially those which make our world different from our forefathers. • 2-Students will gather to analyze and reflect upon information collected from different electronic and print sources.
