Location The Philippines are located in both the northern and eastern hemisphere, Positioned off the southeastern coast of Asia, directly east of Vietnam and northeast of Malaysia, this island nation is literally surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, and many smaller bodies of water including the Philippine Sea, Celebes Sea, Sula Sea and South China Sea.

  3. Place Some rivers names are the Abra river, Bay river, Loboc river, and Tagite river. Some mountains names are Mount Panay, Mount Ragang, and Mount Dulang-dulang. Some volcanoes names are Didicas Volcano, Paco, and Mariveles Volcano.

  4. Human/Environmental Interaction People move by rivers to have fertile soil and to have water for their plants. People move to open areas for farmland and to have space for their children to play. People move in the cities so that they’re close to food resources and schools and to have jobs. These are some reasons why people will move in these certain places.

  5. Movement The Humanist movement started in 1966 in Mendoza, Argentina as a small group of people who gathered together to find a new response to the crisis of dehumanization and violence. The crisis was felt in all areas of human activity in the personal, social, economic, political and religious fields. By 1969, this small initial group had expanded into numerous groups and their presence began to be noticed by the military. The military regimes of began to censor and persecute the members during its meetings, gatherings, public acts and demonstrations. On May 4, 1969, the "siloists" gathered and the speech "The Healing of Suffering" was given by Silo.

  6. Region Philippines is an archipelagic country which is composed of approximately 7,109 islands with Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao as the major islands. These islands are divided into 17 regions which are based on the geographical, cultural and ethnological characteristics of the country. These regions are: Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao
