Appearance • Size bigger than cows or bulls • Height 4-6 feet • Weight 750 to 8,000 pounds • Length 3.5 - 4.6m (11 - 15 ft) • Color - grey, white, and black • Type of skin - thick skin with overlapping folds • Two horns – one small, one large – the horns are like fingernails and can grow back if broken

  4. Eating Habits • Herbivores • White Rhino (have square lips) eat grass – other rhinos eat trees and bushes • Graze

Behaviors and Other Interesting facts • # of babies Female gives birth to one baby at a time • How cared for Their mother gives it milk and keeps it close to its mother for about 2 years • Protection - depends on its mother to protect them from hyena, lion, crocodiles • Migrate some to find water • They can charge at any point if they sense something unknown • Poor eyesight • Good sense 0f smell and hearing • Protect themselves with the biggest horn • Predators – humans • Live for 45 years
