The Big Tea Party consultation How can we make it even better? Staff, pupils and families attended a tea party in our school hall on Thursday 30.6.13. so that we could talk about what we like about North Ridge and how we can improve the school even more next year. MAIN PRIORITIES FOR 2013/14. • 1. Continue to improve the quality of teaching and learning in foundation subjects as well as core subjects. All lessons to reach good or outstanding by the end of 2013/14 • 2. Continue to improve assessment for learning by involving more able pupils even more in understanding and measuring their progress • 3. Pupils’ to have access and improve learning through development and innovative use of ICT – I PADS/ APPS/ Music technology and use of the school website. • 4. Develop leadership further- effective leadership by Governors, further development of middle leaders, better leadership of foundation subjects by recruitment of specialist teachers, building of capacity to provide support if required to other schools and increase partnership working with North district schools • 5. Increase opportunities for work related learning – better use of the allotment, Key Stage 5 class based at North Manchester Hospital "Do your best"
