  2. Internal Assessment What you should have: • Completed forms clearly identifying procedure, IV, DV • At least 3 articles of research • Introduction Draft • Method Section Draft If not this must all be submitted by next Tuesday Final deadline term 3 week 4

  3. Extended Essays • Second draft due week 4 • Feel free to make appointments if you need help…do NOT leave this until last minute • Non-optional meeting week 5 with second draft feedback Final EE due Term 2, Week 9!

  4. Semester 1 Exams Week 6 Worth 30% of semester grade

  5. Semester 1 Exams Paper 1 (duration 2 hours) • BLOA • CLOA • SCLOA • 3 SAQS one from each level of analysis. 8 marks each • 1 essay question (choice of 3) 22 marks

  6. Semester 1 Exams Paper 2 (duration 1 hour) HL only* • Abnormal psychology • 1 essay question • 22 marks • Choice of three questions *In IB exams SL students will also sit paper 2 as human relationships requires 1 hour essay

  7. Semester 1 Exams Paper 3 (duration 1 hour) HL only* • Qualitative research methods • 3 questions • 10 marks each • Given research stimulus

  8. Assessments • From week 10: practice test next tues/weds: both SAQs, one word questions and LAQs 15% of mark • Week 3: critical evaluation of study completed in class time • Week 5: practice test
