  2. The idea behind Tea Party Economics is to spread the word about their beliefs about government spending and taxation through rallies, and protests. • They believe that the government has grown out of control and that it is becoming unstable. How it works

  4. The Tea Party does not have a central leader. • Instead they have a group of people in almost every state that share the same views and try to spread the word in their own region, and in their own way. Leaders

  6. They want to eliminate national debt but by eliminating the debt the government would have to raise taxes • And they want to protect free markets but by deregulating business Flaws
