Black gold • Crude oil otherwise known as black gold is a major energy source for the united states of America. • Oil is used for many fuels for cars that we use today. The problem with this energy is that it is very expensive.
Effects of this energy • Crude oil is reliable but it is very bad for the environment. • It releases a lot of carbon monoxide emissions into the atmosphere. • If there is too much of this into the air it could tear a hole into the o-zone layer this is what protects from the suns harmful UV rays.
How it is converted into usable energy • Crude oil is made from decomposed animals that died a million years ago. • When the decomposing process is complete they will already be oil and then they are ready for us to use.
coal • Coal is also one of the most used energy source's we use today. • It is mostly used for a lot of trains.
Effect of this energy • This energy is bad for the environment. • It releases a lot of emissions that pollute the sky that, is what you see when you are in a big city and the sky is brown.

Dangers of transporting oil • It is dangerous to transport these because it destroys the environment. • Oil spills often happen in the ocean. The oil will stick to birds, penguin ,and fish and not allow them to swim or fly.
