Hotels • Hotels are business premises which provide the basic facility of food & beverage. • And also accommodation. • An establishment can not be called hotel any if one of the two factors missing. • Depending upon facilities provided the category of the hotels vary from 2 star to 5star. Motels • This are the hotels located at the highway sides which cater mainly to the travellers. • This are not expensive as the luxury hotels or business hotels. • They provide facilities like vehicle parking refueling and garage along with the basic accommodation.   7. Resorts • This are hotels located at places far away from the city. • Mainly at seaside and hill stations. • The stay of guest is longer. • This hotels provide kitchen facility in the room. Compiled by Mr. Viraj Chavan

  20. Pastry shop • They may be attached to a hotel or may be indepednantly existing. • They generally deal with bakery & pastry products. • They may not or may be having sitting arrangement. • Service area are separated from kitchen by glass partition. Compiled by Mr. Viraj Chavan
