  1. THE BEAUTIFUL FACE OF MODERNINDIA

  2. Pictures from Internet

  3. Pictures from God’s Own Country

  4. Do you want to HIT us for showing these DIRTY PICTURES? Call us @ 9995675259 & tell your convenient time to HIT us

  5. But remember, millions of Indians (sometimes including you & us) are using these DIRTY PUBLIC TOILETS to answer nature’s call Now you don’t want to HIT us, but you feel pity on the dirty face of Modern India & millions of Indians who experience it daily

  6. Our Public Toilets Unhygienic, no tap or water, no latch on the door, stained toilet bowl, the remains of a sink, beer bottles and cigarette butts thrown around. Above all, unbearable stench

  7. Synergians define Public Toilet as “A place for SHIT, but not a place full of SHIT” If you agree with us, then we have just miles to go to change our SHIT toilets to HAI toilets

  8. Some toilet thoughts before proceeding “It is by the state of bus stands and public toilets a town is judged.” If this statement is true, where we stand? An average person visits the toilet 2500 times a year, about six-eight times a day. You spend about three years of your life in the toilet! Oh My God The toilet handle in a public restroom can have up to 40,000 germs per square inch. That’s why our toilets are without handles 40,000 Americans are injured by toilets each year. India, no stat yet In a survey, it was discovered that 91% of 30,000 British women surveyed won’t sit properly on public toilets but adopt a semi sitting, squatting position. In India, we stand & shit and run away.

  9. Sanitation is a basic right. Forcing people to use dirty public toilets is an awful crime, like forcing someone to eat SHIT.

  10. What we expect from Public Toilet Public Toilets should be Hygienic & Aesthetic Public Toilets should be anthropometrically designed by considering the body measures of human beings Public toilet should be ‘Physically challenged friendly’ and if can’t provide separate ‘Disabled Toilets’, all toilets should have enough wall hand rods to support physically challenged, senior citizens, pregnant women & patients Toilets should be completely enclosed, properly lighted and ventilated by windows and forced air removal Adequate dress hangers in the toilets & bathrooms The operators should do their operations and maintenance works properly

  11. A small idea to change the place we SHIT

  12. HAI model- Special features Hai is Hygienic, Aesthetic & anthropometrically designed toilet. It will provide optimum comfort, feeling of security and will protect from urinal & genital diseases. Aesthetic sense will inspire people to refrain from damaging or misusing/abusing the toilets to certain extent It is ‘Physically challenged & Senior Citizen friendly’. The safety features will help physically challenged, senior citizens, pregnant women & patients to use it safely and without fear of any accident Hai integrates toilet-bathroom-wash basin & toiletries shop. It will provide facilities for all basic human cleaning functions such as brushing, shaving and bathing apart from shiting. It will help visitors to the town to save their money and time. (Bathing is banned at Vytila, most modern bus terminal in Kerala and shaving is banned at Alappuzha KSRTC bus stand.) Hai follows advertising-tryvertising-feelvertising for revenue optimization. (Will explain in coming slides)

  13. HAI model- Special features Hai is completely enclosed and ventilated by windows and forced air removal. To minimize the spread of malodour inside a toilet, controlled and effective exhaust ventilation system is vital. It will help in better human comfort as well as help drying up wet floors more quickly. Proper external, internal lighting and Light colour walls- It will provide a safe and effective operating environment for the toilet users and the cleaners Proper signage – Proper Signage will help in easy use and avoid misuse. Playing Music- People are repeatedly flushing the toilet or keeping the tap open even after the bucket is full with water to mask the sounds that nature forced them to make while using toilets. Playing music will control wastage of water to some extent Adequate dress hangers in the toilets & bathrooms. Proper maintenance, inspection and evaluation system

  14. Public toilets can be expensive to provide and are resource intensive to clean and maintain. But, Advertising-Tryvertising-Feelvertising Optimization Model will help to manage Public toilets

  15. Public toilets are located in public places with high traffic. So outer walls will be a great space to advertise

  16. Highlighted areas in Urinal should be used for advertising. Since the attention of the person will be direct to the wall. So the advertisement will get maximum reach

  17. TOILET/BATHROOM DOOR- Out Side

  18. TOILET/BATHROOM DOOR- Inside

  19. DISPLAY ABOVE THE FLUSH

  20. Toilets will have signboards that teach ‘How to use’ to avoid misuse or confusion. • This poster has to be placed inside the toilet to avoid the confusion of using European toilets
