What Does the Movie Reveal? The King • The King is incapable of accepting Shrek’s Ogre social class. • The King is overly concerned with outward appearances and social re-precautions.
Shrek • Shrek is stuck in his middle class life. He does not understand the need to change. • Disapproves of the Royal way of life. • Does not want to adhere to aristocracy.
Fiona • Fiona would still like to enjoy the finer things in life that she had as a Royal. • While she accepts Shrek’s lower social class, she still wants to be accepted. • Frustrated with Shrek’s discontent for the Aristocracy.
