  7. Activity • At your tables… • Share your starred items from your notes • Discuss this point…When seat belts were first installed in cars most people did not wear them. Now most do. What caused people to change their behavior? • Why do you think people continue to use cell phones while driving? • What do you think it will take to get people, adults and teens, to take this dangerous behavior seriously?

Homework • Info Exchange: “One Text or Call Could Wreck it All” (National Highway Traffic Administrations’ slogan) • Share worksheet with parent or trusted adult • Review statistics and decide to be apart of the trend away from distracted driving. • Have parent or guardian sign • Investigate our state’s laws and the consequences for breaking the law(s)
