  4. What is it most known for? • It is known for tagimoucia flower, which only grows in Fiji.

  5. Five facts about Fiji • The currency of Fiji is the Fijian dollar. • The country’s capital is Suva. • It is an English speaking nation. • “Bula” means hello in Fijian. • Fiji is made up of 332 islands.

  6. Reasons for their water quality issues. • Treated sewage. • Sugarcane farming. • Storm drain runoff.

  7. Effects on population • 1/3rd of the population don’t have an access to fresh safe water. • Disrupted natural food chain. • Outbreak of diseases. • Ecosystem destruction.

  8. Steps taken to stop water pollution. • Filtration and chlorination is being done to purify water. • By maintaining vehicles. • By controlling runoff water. • Proper disposal of chemicals. • Picking up litter and disposing trash.

  9. What would we do? • We would bring awareness to the people of Fiji. • We would help them in disposing their chemicals properly. • We would help them control runoff water. • We would help remove trash and litters. • We would help them maintaining their vehicles.
