  4. The studio • The grid • Mounting system for the studio lighting • Sometimes fixed, sometimes adjustable • May need to be moved for individual project • The ceiling • Certain types can be an issue (Tin roof, AC noise, etc.) • Electricity • Ceiling often houses the outlets for lights

  5. The control room • Audio board • Used to control all audio levels • Microphones, music, video sound, etc. • Video Switcher • Used to control video signals • Cameras, video clips, pictures, lower thirds, keys (green/blue)

  6. The control room • CCU (Camera control units) • Controls power and video signals to cameras • Monitors • Used to view and set up camera shots/graphics • Allow for adjustments before going live • Speakers • Help audio engineers to adjust volume while broadcasting
