  2. The Indo-European Language Family • The Indo-European language families are all over Europe and many parts of Asia. • Half of the World speaks Indo-European.

  3. The Indo European Language is broken down into subfamilies like: Romance, Germanic, and Slavic

  4. The Romance Language includes: French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, and Portuguese

  5. The Germanic language includes: English, German, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish

  6. The Slavic languages include: Russian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Ukrainian, Slovenian, Serbo-Croatian, and Bulgarian

  7. The Latin based tongues is survived in the Slavic invasion • The Romania Latin origin is in five countries

  8. The French language extends to many countries. • The Celtic language is in the northeast • The Romance language goes into northern Europe.

  9. The Finnish, Estonian, and Hungarian are part of the Uralic Family • The Uralic family goes to Eurasia to the pacific Coast

  10. The Altaic family includes Turkish, Kazakh, Uigur, Kyrgyz, and Uzbek languages • The Altaic family is mostly located in the middle east
