LSA = A GTA? ‘The Answer to the Skills Gap?’ • Government want an employer driven skills system • Recommended as central to plans for economic growth, increasing stocks of technicians, higher level skills & improvement of Apprenticeships • Potential for funding to be channelled to GTA’s as strategic partners • Call for establishment of GTA’s in new sectors • Opportunity to become the First Logistics GTA!

  19. 12 Months • registered company with growing membership • Offering a real local voice for employers • The LSA providing quality skills training, advice and qualifications across all levels - ‘ a Holistic Offer to local, logistics companies’ • Bidding for Capital funding to sustain and upgrade facilities • Operational with strong governance and proactive members • Potential expansion of SLA into other areas / services
