  7. Accessions • Accessions are by conversion only and currently able to select only the best candidates for conversion. From 1 Oct 2007 until 30 Jun 2008, received 82 conversion packages, approved 71 (86.5%).

  8. CREO/SRB • CREO for E-5 and E-6 is 2/2 as the community continued to need journeymen personnel to backfill recently promoted personnel. No SRB needed ATT.

  9. Sea/Shore Manning • 34 inventory short for current EPA • 36 gapped NC billets (19 Sea/17 Shore) • NC have 0 FAC G Billets, but 11 are on Recruiting Duty • resulting in 11 gapped Shore billets. • IA Status: • Noble Eagle Requirements for NC: 18 • NC IA Capacity: 38 • NCs on IA: 7 (1 GSA coming from Shore) Sea Shore Flow will help balance Sea Shore Manning

ISSUES (1) Issue: NC Manning at 95.1% (34 short of EPA with recent 9 grads) Way Ahead: - NC School (4 weeks) has capacity for 48 students per 18 iterations per year - Annual Production Capacity of: 864 for both NC conversion and CCC/DCC NEC - FY 08 NC conversions up from Dec 07 -16 to date -74 - 46 personnel are approved for conversion/awaiting school (Jul – Oct 08 Classes) - 20 NC conversion needed to cover any shortfalls from planned losses - Sept 08 Advancement will yield additional conversions (100% advancement from E-5 to E-6) Review Incentives to maintain NC Community Health (2) Issue: Sea/Shore Fit Gap Way Ahead: • FY 08 Conversion plan will fill inventory gap (34), account for all planned losses (21) and current 6% attrition spike (11). • Recruiting Tour good for NC’s, will look at adding NC FAC G billets for Recruiting • Consider HYT waiver for Sea of Hard Fill • Coordinate with detailers on SSF Fix Summary: NC conversion plan coupled with current advancement and retention rates will result in 100% NC inventory by OCT 08.
