HEA accreditation • HEA accredits initial and continuing professional development programmes • External confirmation that institutional CPD provision is aligned with the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education (UK PSF). • UH accredited programmes: • CPAD (teaching and supporting learning = AFHEA, full PGCert = FHEA) • PGCert in Health and Medical Education= FHEA • PGCert in Medical and Healthcare stimulation = FHEA

  3. UH CPD framework • Plan to develop assessments at UH to enable submissions for • Associate Fellow HEA • Fellow HEA • Senior Fellow HEA • Benefits the Institution and importantly recognises the teaching professionalism of our staff
