  1. Whether it is alcohol or prescription drugs, drug and substance continues to wreak havoc in New Jersey. Based on modern studies, alcohol and opioid addiction continue to pose a larger risk in this area compared to the rest of America. The same research states there have been 14,000+ deaths due to overdose since 2004. More Information: NJ alcohol rehab New Jersey currently have a number of highly effective drug management programs in place. More than 140,000 patients were admitted to these facilities in 2015 and 2016 combined. This is a major plus point with more and more people taking the initiative to better their lives and work on the substance abuse that's troubling them in New Jersey. The first steps of recovery are admitting that a problem exists and entering some type of treatment program. In fact, there are more than 1,000 drug rehabilitation centers located in NJ alone. Hence, you have many options to choose from in order to get rid of your addiction. These treatment centers are an assortment of facilities including state-funding locations, semi-funded and private establishments. Each one presents a different option for individuals seeking appropriate assistance for their substance abuse issues. A troubling concern that is seen in people with drug abuse issues has to do with not seeking treatment. This often has to do with the cost of these treatment programs, which can be covered by medical insurance policies with specific designated treatment centers. Also, clinics might offer payment plans or other forms of financing to help out those unable to just pay for the involved expenses. An alternative option is going through nonprofit establishments that offer treatment at little or no cost. In fact, state-funded facilities will offer treatment at no cost to the patient. But their treatment plans are restricted and the waiting lists are long. In some cases, the government will also be able to help out in the form of grants. In the process of selecting a New Jersey drug rehabilitation center, numerous other factors need to be considered along the way. Different places have their own treatment methods. The best thing a person can do is take the time to look into each facility and see what their treatment programs are all about. Another determining factor is length of stay. The 28 day recovery principle is what some facilities operate on while other centers have a policy where they treat a patient until they are completely well, rather than using a specific time frame. Always ask about the amenities and the activities that are offered to residents. Check out the staff and make sure that the staff/client ratio is not too skewed. The center should offer care and support after the treatment. On the other hand, the center should assist the patient to re-integrate into society after the treatment. This will help provide a lesser chance of relapse. Look at top resources from Rehab Hotline, Narcotic Anonymous, NJ Connect, and others to learn more about appropriate treatment options in New Jersey.
