  2. Three Fillmore residents were killed in a two-car collision at the Highway 126 railroad crossing west of Fillmore near Sycamore Road. The dead are Roberto Garcia Luviano, 34; Sandra Mirella Castillo, 31; and Maria Elizabeth Oseguera, 5. Castillo and Luviano died at the scene. Oseguera died at Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center where she had been transported by medical helicopter. According to CHP officer Shawna Davison, the car driven by Maria Oseguera, 26, of Fillmore, traveling west in the slow lane, somehow struck a dump truck, also traveling west in the fast lane, driven by 22-year-old Jose Ambrosio Jr. of Oxnard, at about 3:30 p.m.. Oseguera’s car then swerved into the eastbound lane where it was struck head-on by a car driven by David Rendon, 20, of Palmdale, with passenger Eduardo Castro. Rendon and Castro sustained major injuries. The truck driver was uninjured. Luviano and Castillo were ejected from their vehicle.
