Projektas vykdomas 2007 metų kovo – gegužės mėn. www.sendmyfriend.org
Apie projektą: Countries across Europe will hold hands in a huge human chain and take photos and digital video of the event. Then we will measure the human chain to record it. We will then all make a paper chain of children, to represent our friends who do not go to school all over the world, and write messages on the back for our world leaders. Partner schools in Uganda, Ghana and Turkey will also be joining too, so that we can present an even bigger chain of children. We can also share our photos/images.paper buddies over the following weeks on etwinning.net/our twinspace.
Slovakijos studentų laiškas Angelai Merkel Students of Business Academy26 March 2007 K. Kittenbergera 2 934 40 Levice Slovakia Bundeskanzlerin Dr. Angela Merkel Bundeskanzleramt 11012 Berlin GERMANY Dear Dr. Merkel, We are students of Business Academy in Levice, Slovakia and we are writing you because we are deeply disturbed by the situation of 80 million childrenmissing out on school worldwide. 200 students of our school have taken part in a project „Join up – Send my friend to school“. We created the paper figures and a human chain of 200 students of our school which was more than 50 metres long to support the children who cannot go to school nowadays. We think that education is really important for every child. We would kindly ask you to help those 80 million children who are still out of school. Help us , please ask world leaders to speed things up to meet the 2015 target and get all these children to school. We would like to ask world leaders to keep their promises to give more aid, to give free education worldwide, to work together with other rich countries to get money where it is most needed. We would like to ask world leaders to use their powers to remove blocks that stop countries giving more jobs to teachers (there are still 18 million teachers missing worldwide). We call for debts to be cancelled to more countries and we would be happy if all the children of the world could get primary education. We created the human chain to support the ideas about free primary education for every child in the world. We hope our efforts will be successful and our dreams about all the children at school will come true with your help. We enclose some pictures taken during our project Join up and the paper figures expressing our hopes and dreams. Than you for your help Yours sincerely Students of Business Academy in Levice
