During Arabic summer Jordan did not have any uprise or troubles, but in late October 2011 Jordan hosted about 30000 people from Libya first most of them where patient with their relatives most of these patient where with sever battle injuries and needed urgent medical and surgical introversion ,

They needed a lot of blood and blood components.At that time we had to increase our blood supply, we manage that1. increasing the outside blood campaign collection.2. we asked the private hospitals as the majority of the patients were in these hospitals by Rescheduling the operations according to the severity and life treating situation.3. ask them to apply and use the method of appropriate use of blood and blood components.

  11. During that time and until spring 2012 we issued :1. Packed RBC’s = 2400 units2. Fresh Frozen Plasma = 4000 units3. Platelets = 2000 unitTill now we still treat people from Libya

  12. Since the upraise in Syria a lot of refuges inter Jordan about 240000 persons live in Jordan1. we didn’t have any battle injuries or life treating situation2. then we have some cases of battle injuries, but not as in the case of Libya3. there are more than 2 million persons living in Jordan some of them they came to Jordan for medical reasons and surgery like open heart, kidney, liver transplant ….4. Only Jordanians with ID number are allowed to donate blood.
