Like anything else there are different types of them and getting to know the different types will help you decide which one you want. There are 3 different types of bidets and in the article I am going to mention them and give price ranges. These were usually made out of porcelain and were very expensive. They were not attached to the toilet so a lot of room was needed. This type was the first one to exist and is usually very expensive. It can cost anywhere from 500-1800 dollars.   3. The Electric Bidet In the 60's a new type of bidet emerged, this bidet did not require much room as it was attached to your toilet. This type of bidet was called the electric bidet. It hooked up to your toilet and could be used without having to get up. This bidet gained popularity in the 60s as indoor plumbing improved. It became more mainstream to have the bidet all over the world in Europe and Japan. Since it was made out of plastic usually, it is much cheaper then the earlier versions of the bidet and is found in more houses. This type of bidet made the bidets popular, it still cost a lot of money to own this type of bidet but it had many features that the older bidet did not have, it had different temperatures and even air drying. This type of bidet gained a lot of popularity in the Middle East since it is very cheap and in some places they sell for as low as $10. For those that just need a simple clean and are on a low budget, this option is the best. It does not have as many features as the electric bidet does but it gets the job done. The non-electric bidet can come with either cold water or hot water depending on where you hook it up to. Since it does not use electricity it will use the piping of the bathroom. As you can see there are many different types of bidets out there. The bidet has changed a lot since it was invented hundreds of years ago. There are many to choose from and depending on your needs you can choose which bidet you want. There is the original bidet, which is the most expensive and takes up the most room. There is the electric bidet which 2nd expensive but does not take up any additional room. And finally there's the non-electric bidet which is the cheapest but does not
