Bellwork: Monday, 11/11/13 Head a new sheet of paper correctly & title it “ESTAR: to be.” Copy the following RULES for using ESTAR: Estar is used when referring to the following: The location of a person or thing (la localización) Conditions (lascondiciones) Impressions or opinions (lasopiniones) “How you feel and where you are…always take the verb ESTAR.” I can state where something/someone is located, how one feel (conditions), and what one thinks/feel about things (impressions/opinions).

  2. ESTAR & SER POEM Estaris where you are. In a house or in a car. If you're happy or if you’re sad. Estar can tell you if you're mad. Ser is who you are. From the USA or USSR. Skinny or fat, short or tall. Ser describes you best of all.

  3. ESTAR: TO BE Estaris used when referring to the following: 1. The location of a person or thing (la localización) 2. Conditions (lascondiciones) 3. Impressions or opinions (lasopiniones) “How you feel and where you are…always take the verb ESTAR.”
