  2. FD研修の概要 期間: 16 June 2008 - 30 Nov 2008 滞在先： Control Group, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge 目的: 　　　様々な大学評価において, 米国の大学が上位を独占するなかで，英国ケンブリッジ大学は確固たる孤高の地位を維持し続けている.　ＦＤ先進国である米国から学ぶだけでなく，伝統を重んじるヨーロッパの流儀から，我が国の大学のありようを学びたい. FD研修報告 2/26

  16. 個別指導 - Supervision 講義はマスプロ, TA/RAはいる？ 無問題 • 各コレッジが教育に責任を持つ (budget, reputation) • コレッジが専任教員を雇用する場合も （facultyもコレッジ所属だがsupervision 　　　は担当しないことが多い） • 週１～４回（科目毎）１時間（最大２人まで） • レポートの提出，採点（feedback) (3 terms, twice a week, 60 min.) FD研修報告 2/26

  19. Stephen William Hawking ... Stephen then went on to Cambridge to do research in Cosmology. After gaining his Ph.D. he became first a Research Fellow and later on a Professorial Fellow at Gonville and Caius College. After leaving the Institute of Astronomy in 1973, Stephen came to the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics and since 1979, has held the post of Lucasian Professor of Mathematics. The chair was founded in 1663 with money left in the will of the Reverend Henry Lucas who had been the Member of Parliament for the University. It was first held by Isaac Barrow and then in 1669 by Isaac Newton. FD研修報告 2/26
