  2. How to Mix, Freeze, Group The leader of the game asks a question. Quietly find the correct answer on the screen and see what number goes with the right answer. Students rush to form groups based on the answer. Try not to end up in the Lost and Found!

  3. How to Mix, Freeze, Group • What does mix mean? • Quietly wander around the room. • It is appropriate to hop, walk, jump, skip around the room. • It is not appropriate to run, bump in to people or things, etc. • Be sure you’re paying attention while mixing, be ready for the next question!

  4. How to Mix, Freeze, Group • What does freeze mean? • Duh. • Show me freeze. • Can you talk while you’re frozen? • Nope!

How to Mix, Freeze, Group • What does group mean? • Get in a group with the number of people you think the correct answer. • This is by FAR the most difficult part. • You need to work together as a class to get the correct answer. • For the class to get a point, class ALL has to have the right number of groups, the right amount of kids in each group and the right number of kids in the Lost and Found.

  6. How to Mix, Freeze, Group • What if everyone is grouped and I’m not?! • You go to the Lost and Found! • Do I lose points in the Lost and Found? • No! Having the correct number in the Lost and Found helps the class earn points. • I need your help. Where should the Lost and Found in this classroom be? • Let’s try it!
