  1. Ling Bob School Healthy School Award By Gemma Cole, Poppy Hutchinson and Nicholas Green

  2. Introduction We are very pleased to achieve such a brilliant award. We have worked so hard to accomplish an award like this, we made changes around school. Here are the things we did.

  3. Playtime munchies We decided if we want to achieve the healthy school award we had to change our crisps to apples, bananas and pears. School provides us with these things but if we don’t like these fruit we can bring in our own fruit and veg to eat.

  4. Healthy encouraging All of the staff encourage us to eat healthily , they send lots of letters home for our parents to read. The cooks help us choose the healthiest choices on the menu and love to decorate the school with healthy eating posters.

  5. Exercise mania As you know to be healthy you don’t just eat healthily you need to exercise. Instead of just playing on our improved playground the teachers have also allowed us to have a run round on the field. We also have oosh clubs which stands ‘for out of school hours’, such as sports mix, netball and football.

  6. Assemblies The teachers and children love doing and watching healthy eating assemblies. It is a really good way to get the message through to us.

  7. The End We hope you enjoyed our power point presentation.
