Rule #1 If you demonstrate a positive attitude and make an effort to do the things your teacher asks you to do, things will go better for you in class. And, it doesn’t hurt to smile once in a while!
Rule #2 When the bell rings and your teacher is ready for class to begin, it is not a good idea for you to be engaged in a conversation with classmates.
Rule #3 There’s a difference between your not liking you and not liking the things you do in class.
Rule #4 Arguing with your teacher is pointless.
Rule #5 Your teacher is probably not going to let you use the restroom during the first 20 minutes or the last 20 minutes of class—also not right before or after lunch, so don’t ask.
Rule #6 If your teacher warns you about your behavior and you continue that behavior, you are probably going to get in trouble. If you stop after you are warned you probably will not.
Rule #7 When you teacher tells another student to stop talking, it is probably not a good idea for you to choose that time to begin talking to your neighbor.
Rule #8 Every teacher is going to have different rules and expectations. Some will be stricter and some more lenient It is important to know the differences, and there is no point in focusing on whether or not it is fair.
Rule #9 If your classmate tries to get you to do something you think might get you in trouble, you should always stop and think before you do it.
Rule #10 Friends to not ask other friends to do something in class that would get them in trouble. If your friends ask you to do something wrong and you do it, they will not think you are cool, they will thing you are gullible. Instead, tell them to do it themselves and see if they will.
