Survey of industrial enterprises • Methods • Focus group discussions, in-depth interviews - May 2005 • Questionnaires - 92 companies, Sept. 2005 – Jan. 2006, processed with SPSS • Topics • Awareness of the IWRM, WFD, Bulgarian legislation • Notions about participating in water management • Attitude towards MBIs • Respondents • Companies generating waste water, more than half of them – in the manufacturing sector, have above 250 employees, ISO certified
