  2. Population The current total of goals scored in the 2012-2013 Champions league are 284 goals scored in 64 matches. The population we are looking at is the total numbers of goals that were scored until now. There are still 15 games to play, there might be more goals. I will keep you posted.

This is a ratio level of measurement because the data values can be formed so that one data value can be meaningfully expressed as a multiple of another. Meaning that the goal scored by Dinamo is a 1/16 of Chelsea`s 16 goals.

  7. INTERVAL level of measurement Cristiano Ronaldo(Real Madrid) scored 6 goals and Aleksandar Kolarov ( Manchester city) scored only one goal. The difference is of five goals. This is an interval level of measurement because the difference between the goal scored(so the data)can be calculated.

  17. Sample The part of teams who did not qualify for the round 16 is an example of a sample. This is a sample because the 16 teams were a subset or part of population( which in this case are the total 32 teams that qualified for the round 16) that did qualify.
