  3. From late July to late August, fireworks displays are held in different parts of Japan. This is a tradition that goes back several centuries, watching pretty colours flash against the night time sky can make Japan's hot, humid weather very enjoyable. Fireworks are one of the things that Japanese children look forward to, for it is summer in Japan and the schools are on holiday. Fireworks are handmade by artisans who spend most of there time making them for this events.
