  4. Rating I rate this book a 3 out of 4. Because in parts it can be depressing, but overall it’s a good story. I also recommend that you read it, because it’s a very good book.

  5. “ The last thing my father ever said to me was that it takes glass a million years to decay.” After the devastating death of her father, Melissa must learn to survive without him. It seems like everyone is changing around her and the essence of her father is disappearing. Melissa’s sister is dating the school’s hottest guy in school and mother is starting to look for other guys. Worst of all her best friend is dating her worst enemy, Courtney Whitman. Life takes a twist when the name Sally Bedford enters Melissa’s life. Turns out Sally was a girl that her dad use to date. In this book there are happy times and bad times. It is a life learning lesson for Melissa. She learns that you can make mistakes and you can fix them too, but hey, isn’t that what life is all about? Summary
