The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light”(Rom 13v11-12)

  5. God is Light “Let there be Light…” “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever”(Rev 22v5)

Divine Purpose • God had a focus – a special creation… Days 1-6 World & all in it Day 7 God’s Rest Day 6 Man for for “Image and Likeness” Isa 45v18 “I formed it to be INHABITED” – Heb“A place to dwell”. God dwells in us when we reflect& manifest Him. THM: Render to God the things that are God’s!

Christ Seen In Ecclesia Divine contrast of Genesis 2 is important… • Gen 2v15-16 – “God took the man”* • * Before Woman created! • “Who is the image of the invisible God…he is before all things…he is the head of the body, the Ecclesia: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell” (Col 1v15-19) • Gen 2v16-17 – “God commanded the man, saying…”* • 1 Tim 2v4-15 • Different roles “in Ecclesia” = type of Christ’s headship and leadership of US! THM: Different roles at times, but as VITALas each other!

Christ & Ecclesia Creation of the Woman paints an amazing allegory… • Gen 2v21 – “God caused2 a deep sleep1” • Sleep = symbolic of death • “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept” (1 Cor 15v20-22) • “Not my will, but thine be done” • Gen 2v21 – “Took one of the ribs” • Heb: side (Ex 25v12)
