  3. Management Roles • Interpersonal – relationship builder, figurehead, leader • Knowledge Source – teacher, monitor, communicator • Decision Maker – entrepreneur, conflict resolver, resource allocator, negotiator

  4. Levels of Management • Senior Mngt. – big picture operation of company • Middle Mngt. – facilitate senior mngt. goals, often have area of specialty or geographic area under control • Supervisory Mngt. – hands on, day to day operation of the business
