Setting • The story takes place in their suburban house. It is present day. There are many days so there is not a certain time that takes place. Their home is a normal home when I picture it I imagine it like my house.
Problem/Conflict • The conflict in the story is about Greg the main character, has always had problems with his older brother Rodrick, but this time he has taken I too far. He is blackmailing Greg by holding his biggest and most embarrassing secret against him.
Resolution • Greg finds out many embarrassing secrets and bad things Rodrick has done to get back at him. • He tries to do anything he can to keep Rodrick from telling his secret.
My opinion of the book • I can relate to this book because I have struggles with my siblings and I personally think that the book Diary of a wimpy kid Rodrick Rules is the best in the series. It describes a relationship between two brothers and their family. You should read this book it is fun, enjoyable for kids of our age.

Summary Greg has always had struggles with his older brother Rodrick, but when he takes it too far Greg finds ways to get back at him. As the story goes on the two brothers have more and more struggles but in the end Greg realizes Rodrick is his brother and he love him no matter what.
