NRS 240 Clinical Hours • Preparatory Clinical Orientation Meeting: 1 hour • Weekly Debriefing meeting/5weeks: 5 hours • Weekly Journal of selected topic/4 weeks 15 hours • Precepted clinical experience: 60 hours • HESI NCLEX Review Course: 24 hours • HESI EXIT V1 remediation 16 hours • evolve case studies 4 hours • Summative Clinical Meeting 1 hour • Testing (HESI & Dosage Calc) 9 hours Total Hours 135 hours
Precepted Clinical Experience • 60 hours over 5 weeks (12 hrs per week) • Paired with RN in local health care facility • MCCC oversight faculty • Weekly journaling • Preceptor and Self Evaluation • Clinical skill assessment • Facility orientation • Weekly debriefing sessions with oversight faculty
