NRS 240 Course Requirements • Summative Dosage Calculation Exam (given week 1) • HESI Exit Exam Version 1 (given week 1) • HESI remediation • Completion of Licensure application • Completion of Resume • Weekly reflective journals • HESI Exit Exam Version 2 (given week 5) • 4 evolve case studies

  10. NRS 240 - Grading All NRS 240 are required to complete the HESI NCLEX Review Course All NRS 240 are required to pass the Dosage Calculation. Passing score for this exam is 100%. NRS 240 Clinical Hours • Preparatory Clinical Orientation Meeting: 1 hour • Weekly Debriefing meeting/5weeks: 5 hours • Weekly Journal of selected topic/4 weeks 15 hours • Precepted clinical experience: 60 hours • HESI NCLEX Review Course: 24 hours • HESI EXIT V1 remediation 16 hours • evolve case studies 4 hours • Summative Clinical Meeting 1 hour • Testing (HESI & Dosage Calc) 9 hours Total Hours 135 hours

Precepted Clinical Experience • 60 hours over 5 weeks (12 hrs per week) • Paired with RN in local health care facility • MCCC oversight faculty • Weekly journaling • Preceptor and Self Evaluation • Clinical skill assessment • Facility orientation • Weekly debriefing sessions with oversight faculty

  14. Facilities for Precepted Clinical • RWJ Hamilton (Med-Surg, Telemetry ER/ICU) • Princeton Medical Center (Med-Surg, OB, Telemetry) • Day, Night, Weekend shifts available)
