  2. INTRODUCTION • AUSTRUMI is a business card size bootable live CD Linux distribution. It is based on Slackware. It was created and is currently being maintained by a group of programmers from Latgale region of Latvia

System information • Fastest Linux distribution with 3D support for Intel video cards. • Contains all necessary basic programs for work and entertainment. • The modern user interface into Latvian, Russian, English, Italian and Greek languages. • Simple boot from CD, flash drive or hard disk. • It is fitted out for servers and workstations

  5. performance and features • Includes graphic editors, office suite, networking tools, Internet browsers, FTP and mail clients, multimedia packages, classic games and system tools • Austrumi also includes word and excell applications and media player.
