  3. Our School celebrated Chrysalis Day on 3rd February 2012, where the students showcased their IT skills and capabilities. The Students from grades 1 to 8 presented various projects using different kinds of softwares. Itwas a wonderful experience for them as it brought out their hidden talents. • Students came up with many innovative ideasand were exposed to many technologies through their projects.   5. FOURTH ANNUAL SPORTS MEET HELD ON 11TH FEBRUARY 2012

  6. Smartly dressed boys and girls added beauty to the field of YBPS ground on 10th & 11th February 2012 as it was their 4th Annual sports meet. Dr.P.AnbazhaganAssistant professorDepartment of physical Education , Bharathiar University graced the occasion as the chief guest and Our Guest of honour was –Dr.Saikumar-Principal Sri Ramakrishna mission vidyalaya, Maruthi College of physical education. Students participated with zeal and enthusiasm in all the track and sport events. Full participation in the events of junior wing made the occasion a colorful one. There was a spectacular display of school band, yoga, gymnastics, taekwondo and drill. The basketball demo was the highlight of the day. The “March past best performer” shield was bagged by Maple house and In the neck to neck competition the rolling trophy was bagged by “ cedar house “ as the champions of the year 2011-2012. Parents too contributed their part by participating in the events. This wonderful event came to a close with the lowering and handing over of the school flag for many more successful sports meet to come.

  9. VALEDICTORY FUNCTION FOR CLUB ACTIVITIES HELD ON 29TH FEB 2012

  10. Multi tasking is rapidly being acknowledged as a necessary skill in the present day scenario. The students of YBPS learn very early to focus, prioritize and effectively juggle with all the activities at a time. On 25th feb 2012 the various clubs celebrated their valedictory function on a common platform. Student representatives of all the clubs presented their annual reports and also represented their plans for the next academic year. While the representative of science club spoke about few interesting activities, the math club representative said that they learn to make math, practical and enjoyable. The Health and wellness club gave a report on their interaction with emulate doctors of the city. The literary club members shared their joy of becoming young poets and efficient writers. The social interactive club shared their experiences of reaching out the needy. and also in one of the sessions they earned each grain by playing a game of vocabulary and donating the same in an orphanage. The student representative of eco club focused on the need of the hour i.e.; protecting the environment. This valedictory function came to a close with a photo session.

  12. VISIT TO AN ORPHANAGE BY INTERACTIVE CLUB STUDENTS ON 25TH FEB 2012.

  13. Our social club students collected some usable clothing within themselves for donating them to the old age home Bharatha annai illam at Vadavalli. The collection of clothes were beyond the expectations. On the club activity day they were taken to Bharatha annai illam and were allowed to hand over the clothings personally by themselves. Their eyes were filled with emotional joy which knew no bounds . The social club has inculcated qualities of caring and sharing for old age people , in our children.

  15. FOOTBALL CAMP CONDUCTED BY NIKE HELD AT PSG MEDICAL COLLEGE ON 25TH AND 26TH FEB 2012

As part of Nike‘s steadfast and Step Up programs, they conducted a two day Football camp for both boys and girls team and as well for our coaches on 25 & 26th [Saturday & Sunday] at PSG Medical College football ground Coimbatore, The camp facilitated beginner, intermediate and advanced level of coaching. The children maximized the benefits of coaching and improved their skill levels.. 

  17. VISIT TO SHANTHI ASHRAM BY OUR CHILDREN FOR A DISCUSSION • *KARTHIK RAJ KANNA – IX-A • * KEERTHANA - VIII-C • ON 25TH FEB 2012 THE THEME OF THE DISCUSSION WAS ABOUT HOW TO ERADICATE POVERTY IN FUTURE.

  18. CSI DISCOVER THINKING HELD AT CIT AUDITORIUM FOR CLASSES VII,VIII & IX ACCOMPANIED BY MRS.SEEMA

  19. Students of ourSchool participated in the CSI Discover Thinking ICT quiz held on 27th February 2012 at Coimbatore Institute of Technology. It was an exciting and educative experience for our students to enhance their Skills in the field of IT & Science. The questions were from Current Affairs, General Knowledge and trivia..

  20. KHEL DHIN & NO BOOKS DAY HELD ON 29TH FEB 2012

  21. KHEL DHIN : On the fresh morning of 29th feb 2012 , kids enjoyed khel Dhin with variety of new games like pocket full of roses, Gold point, too- deep, Animal chase,Zig Zag ball relay, centre stride, cat & rat and Monkey catch. Their joy knew no bounds. Class IV & V had a yoga session as a relaxation program by our yoga teacher Mrs.Bhuvaneshwari. NO BOOKS DAY : Classes 3,4 & 5 started with activities and games. They had a session on yoga followed by circle time, a discussion on their experiences of the previous year. The afternoon session was filled with colourful artwork. Our juniors explored their artistic skill with creativity by making puppets , envelopes and vegetable printing.

  22. COIMBATORE GOLF CLUB GETS A DRIVING RANGE INAUGURATED BY K.L.VARADHARAJAN , A SENIOR MEMBER OF CGC. OUR STUDENT NIYATHI VARADHARAJAN WITH TWO PUTTS APIECE , TOOK HOME THE PUTTING AWARD.

  23. CLICKETY CLICK PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST CONDUCTED BY “SANAZIA COMMUNICATION”. VARUN – XI SECURED OVERALL FIRST PLACE.
