The survey format should include proper headings for information regarding houses • If a joint family with parents and married sons live under the same roof but they demand houses for themselves separately, this should be allotted on their marital basis. • Certain states are facing paucity of land and it is difficult to purchase/acquire lands even after payment, SHGs should be formed and for them multi story houses should be built with allied facility like cattle sheds etc.
2 -Execution • AP model of organizational structure like AP housing corporation limited should be adopted • A portion say about 3% of central allocation should be provided by GoI as administrative cost • NGOs of repute should assist the beneficiary • SHG group should be formed and the group should construct their houses collectively. • Unit cost should be raised to Rs. 1,00,000
3-Finance • The assistance should be in the form of loan cum subsidy in the ratio of 25:75 • Wage component of house construction should be reimbursed to beneficiary from NREGA fund
