    3. Who benefits – or suffers – from this project? Who can help – or hinder – it? Who needs to participate in the project? What exactly are they interested in? What is their attitude to the project? How much power do they have over the project? How much impact will the project have on them? How should we relate to them? What specific involvement should they have? What do we do next? Like any good management tool, the stakeholder log is designed to help you document key information and solve real problems: What is the purpose of the stakeholder log?

    4. Scope + requirements. Governance. Customer relationships. Change management. 3rd parties. Planning, resourcing + scheduling. Dependency management. Risk management + issue management Change control. Lessons learnt. The stakeholder log will also support many other aspects of the project. For example: What is the purpose of the stakeholder log?

    5. They play an active role in your project. Governance, compliance, etc. Execution, rollout, support, etc. Suppliers, regulators, etc. Your project will affect some aspect of their roles and responsibilities. Benefit or disbenefit. They could potentially influence the success – or failure - of your project. Related projects. Enterprise/business architects. Other units competing for priority, resources, etc.. Hopefully, plenty of individuals and groups will be interested in your project. But they are only stakeholders if... Who are my stakeholders?
